How Baitiq Grab works

Which links work?

TikTok share links resolve automatically. Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts often block automated access — when that happens, save the clip and upload the file instead; the editor works identically.

How high is the quality really?

Frames are read straight from the video at its native pixel resolution and written as a lossless PNG, so nothing is re-compressed. The ceiling is the source clip: a 1080x1920 video gives a 1080px square at most in true detail.

What does the 2048 option do?

It resamples the crop in gradual steps with high-quality smoothing, which avoids the blocky edges of a single hard upscale. It cannot invent detail that isn't in the source — the native option is shown next to it so you can compare.

Is anything stored?

No. Links are resolved and streamed through the server so the browser can read the pixels, but no video or capture is written to disk or to a database. Everything disappears when you close the tab.

Can I capture several frames?

Yes. Every capture downloads immediately and also stays in the session strip so you can re-download any of them without scrubbing back.
